Aims & Objectives

The Implant year course, supported by Nobel Biocare, is a one year course consisting of 10 days of teaching and extended clinical implant training at Guy's Dental Implant Centre in Cardiff, or our teaching centre in Bristol. Participants will learn the theory and practice of implant treatment planning, implant surgery, bone augmentation techniques, implant occlusion, implant restoration and maintenance. Implant placement on live patients is an important part of the course.

Event Content

The course consist of ten lecture days involving lectures, videos and hands on training. Clinical days involve assisting and operating with David Guy at one of his implant clinics in the treatment of implant patients.
