Event Content

Eimear O'Connell will share her experiences of using digital dentistry. Using these tools she will explain how she has increased the number of implants she places as well as the predictability of implant placement and the restorative outcome. As an early adopter of scanning and in house production of restorations she will explain how she started firstly restoring implants with TiBases and Emax screw retained crowns to then milling and producing guides to more accurately place her implants.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand the digital workflow
  • To merge data to plan guides
  • To use iSy system with CEREC to allow guided surgery, placement, temporization and final restoration
  • Hands-on training in scanning, merging, designing and producing guides, customised healing abutments and final restorations
