Aims & Objectives
The Bath Spa Dentistry Implantology Year Programme is aimed at practitioners with little or no experience and is particularly appropriate for participants wanting to progress to Diploma or MSc courses.

Live surgery:
- Implant placement into healed ridge
- Immediate loading
- Uncovering procedures
Practical workshops:
- Placing an implant into a plastic model
- Draping and gowning procedures
- Open and closed tray techniques
- Impression techniques and procedures
- Abutment selection and angulation
- Incision and suturing techniques

The course is suitable for practitioners who have been placing implants who want to learn about best practice techniques and the principles of implant dentistry.
Participants learn through associated lectures, treatment planning cases, practical demonstrations and live surgical procedures as well as patient management.
