Aims & Objectives

Our Dental Implant Fundamentals course introduces you to an experienced Clinician who successfully combines theory with hands-on exercises to guide you through the different steps of the implant treatment workflow which will help you to become more involved in placing or restoring dental implants.

This is a comprehensive introduction to Surgical and Restorative dentistry. Each delegate is given the opportunity to place at least 6 implants in a patient that is provided by the course, to experience placement in Straightforward indications including single tooth and edentulous arch. The restorative module also includes treating patients and you will experience impression taking and the fitting of the implant structure.

You will have the opportunity to place at least 6 dental implants with a live patient

• You will have the opportunity to treat 2-3 patient cases from start to finish

Event Content

Over the 5 modules, delegates will gain in-depth understanding of Patient selection and examination, treatment planning and gaining Patient consent , Implant design and selection. It will also give you the opportunity to treat Patients with basic surgical procedures including aseptic techniques. The Restorative procedures will include uncovering of an implant, impression taking, lab communication and the fitting of the final restoration, implant care and maintenance.
