Engage One is a practical, hands-on implant restoration course designed specifically for general dentists who want to start restoring straightforward single implant crowns with greater confidence.
The course takes delegates through the complete restorative workflow, from patient assessment and restoratively driven treatment planning through to implant component selection, digital and conventional impressions, crown fitting, torque protocols, occlusion, screw-access sealing and maintenance.
Delegates work hands-on with Straumann BLC components and practise the clinical workflows themselves. No previous implant restorative experience is required.
Limited to 12 dentists and includes 7 hours of verifiable CPD, course resources, clinical workflow checklists, lunch, refreshments and ongoing restorative and referral support.
Aims & Objectives
Aim:
To provide general dentists with the knowledge, practical skills and structured clinical workflow required to become confidently involved in the restoration of appropriately selected straightforward single implant cases.
By the end of the course, delegates should be able to:
• Assess whether a single implant case is appropriate for them to restore
• Understand common implant terminology, components and restorative connections
• Plan implant treatment restoratively in collaboration with the surgeon and dental laboratory
• Understand and perform digital and conventional implant impression workflows
• Fit and torque a screw-retained single implant crown
• Verify complete restoration seating clinically and radiographically
• Assess implant occlusion and correctly seal the screw-access channel
• Provide appropriate maintenance advice and ongoing review
