Location: University of Surrey
A hands on cadaveric approach to haptics in dental implantology. This course combines focused lectures, VR-enabled anatomical
teaching, supervised cadaveric dissection and case-based reflection.
Clinicians will be equipped with practical skills and decision‑making
frameworks for managing dental implant placement and handling
and manipulating hard and soft tissue for oral surgery and dental
implant techniques using cadaveric approaches.
Aims & Objectives
Develop clinicians’ ability to understand the importance of tissue
haptics in dental implant placement, bone manipulation and soft
tissue techniques. To enhance anatomical understanding using
extended-reality visualisation with hands‑on experience with
cadaveric techniques with reflective practice for clinical and
educational portfolios.

Placement of dental implants in
anterior and posterior
mandible and maxilla with anatomical considerations
osseodensification
sinus lift techniques and relevant anatomy
