Aims & Objectives
To demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of dental implant prosthodontics
Seminars and hands on sessions will be provided on implant prosthodontics. The aim of the unit is to make the course participants competent to choose the right type of restoration clearly and confidently for dental implants. This unit will cover a range of conventional and digital techniques.
Event Content
Protocols for creating restorations that mimic nature, ranging from single teeth to full arches.
Management of occlusion – conformative and reorganised.
Managing the changes in inter-maxillary relationship
Full mouth reconstructions including cement, screw and conical retention.
Conical retention - Creation of bio-compatible restorations without any micro-leakage ensuring functional and long-term stability.
Addressing immediate treatment as well as staged treatment including augmentation using fully guided surgery.
Case presentations by participants.
