The Academy of Practical Advanced Dentistry in UK (earlier known as The Academy of Practical Implant Dentistry, UK) includes a core team of eminent dentists with outstanding clinical experience. At PAD Academy we deliver high quality lectures combined with hands on training and clinical mentoring to ensure the course participants develop the skills required to confidently provide treatment involving dental implants with high success rates. The PG diploma is awarded by an accredited body of UK's national qualification regulator.

Implant Surgery
Incisions, flap designs, grafts, and flaps

Aims & Objectives

To educate and train dentists to provide SAFE, EFFECTIVE and PREDICTABLE treatment for the benefit of patients.

To demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of dental implant surgery.
Seminars will be provided covering a range of implant systems; their pros and cons will be discussed in great depth so that the course participant will be able to make an informed decision.
This unit aims to cover all the fundamentals of implant surgery covering topics related to incisions, flap designs, osteotomies, implant placement techniques including digital, soft tissue grafts and suturing techniques.

Event Content

The course participant will have access to a series of webinars and face to face unit covering all aspects of Surgical Implant Dentistry. This unit will be mainly practical with lots of hands-on practice.
Reading list will be provided and case discussions will be carried out to help course participants make decisions.
