Join the ADI North East Study Club with your Host Dr Kareem Siddiqui, for an evening of practical, clinically focused implant education set in the historic surroundings of Lumley Castle, one of the region's most prestigious venues.

This Study Club is designed to bridge the gap between surgical decision-making and restorative success, combining the Clinician’s perspective with the Laboratory insight needed for predictable outcomes.

Session ONE - clinical perspective

Dr Darshan Boindala is a dual-qualified Dentist and medical Doctor, bringing a rare depth of surgical insight to implant dentistry. He has trained extensively in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, holding senior posts across the South East of England, and completed his medical degree at The Royal London and St Bartholomew’s School of Medicine and Dentistry.

He has a special interest in implant dentistry and oral surgery, having completed a Master’s degree in Implantology, and has been actively involved in teaching and examining at the Royal College of Surgeons, including many years as an ORE examiner.

In this session, Dr Boindala will focus on avoiding problems in implant placement, drawing on real-world surgical experience to highlight how errors in case selection, planning and implant positioning can compromise outcomes from the very start. The emphasis will be on making sound surgical decisions that create a stable, predictable foundation for successful restoration.

Session TWO - laboratory perspective

Deniz Osmanov is a registered Technician and founder of Intellident Lab, a fully private Laboratory specialising in implant restorations and bespoke crown and bridge work. With years of hands-on experience restoring implants placed by Clinicians at varying skill levels, he brings a unique, real-world understanding of why restorations fail and how these failures often originate in the surgery, not the lab.

He has a particular interest in implant component selection, abutment design, material choice, and digital workflows and works closely with implant Dentists to translate surgical intent into predictable, aesthetic and functional restorations.

In this session Deniz will focus on the Laboratory factors that determine implant success, outlining what Technicians need from Dentists to avoid common restorative problems. He will share practical insights into communication, planning and execution – highlighting the small details that make the difference between a compromised restoration and a predictable long-term outcome.
