Abstract

Implant Prosthodontic complications often present during emergency appointments in practice. This often requires clinicians to accurately diagnose, safely treat the complication and manage patient expectations which can be challenging. This study club aims to discuss why such implant prosthodontic complications arise and how we can effectively manage such cases in practice.

Discussion of the different types of implant prosthodontic complications
How to prevent prosthodontic complications from occurring
Strategies to effectively manage technical prosthodontic complications

Biography

Dr Francesca Tosson

Francesca is a specialist in prosthodontics with a particular expertise in dental implants. She has gained a wealth of experience in the treatment and management of complex implant cases during her specialist training at Guy’s Hospital and from working at the Dawood & Tanner Specialist Dental Practice.
