The evening will provide a detailed exploration of the contemporary digital implant workflow with a particular focus on Dynamic navigation and will outline how CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, and digital planning integrate with real-time navigation to support accurate and predictable implant placement. Key concepts discussed will include freehand, static guides and real-time navigated surgery. Clinical case examples - from single implants to full-arch procedures will illustrate how dynamic navigation can enhance precision across a range of treatment scenarios.
The session is suitable for Clinicians at any stage of adopting a more digital workflow and will provide practical, evidence-based insights for integrating dynamic navigation into everyday implant practice
Learning objectives
- Describe the components of a fully digital implant workflow, including CBCT acquisition, intraoral scanning, and digital treatment planning.
- Explain the principles of guided surgery, dynamic navigation and how real-time guidance differs from static surgical guides.
- Evaluate the accuracy and clinical advantages of dynamic navigation across single-tooth, multi-unit, and full-arch implant procedures.
- Apply practical strategies for integrating digital planning and dynamic navigation into clinical practice, including workflow optimisation, troubleshooting, and case selection
