Aims & Objectives
Part 1 - participants will receive a thorough introduction to Guided Implant Surgery, digital workflows and software planning.
Upon completion of the course, delegates should be able to:
- understand the available software & hardware available for Guided Implant Surgery
- understand case selection and treatment planning in relation to Guided Implant Surgery
- understand how to interpret and understand virtual models, Data Acquisition Techniques ,CBCT imaging fundamentals, Intraoral scanning technologies and how to combine this data for comprehensive treatment planning.
- understand the limitations of pilot-guided implants and why they should be placing implants using a guide
- design a guide for 3D printing and sleeve cementation
