We will discuss important principles and factors that contribute to predictable alveolar bone regeneration. Many of these are applicable to most bone grafting techniques used. Part of my lecture will be dedicated to my approach in planning, choosing biomaterials and basic surgical techniques that are important for success. We shall briefly discuss the human biology, the immune system and how these can affect our outcomes. On top of this, I will share my experience with different titanium mesh products and how these are used to achieve bone regeneration, even in complex cases.
