Implantology with immediate loading protocols has strongly
become a part of our daily practice, either for its effectiveness or
the pressing demands of our patients. Being able to handle immediate
loading in every aspect for us is mandatory, especially if we want to be
successful and continuously up to date.
We will describe the scientific background of the procedure and the
possibility of using immediate implants for the replacement of
hopeless teeth. Immediate implant placements have many advantages
such as fewer surgical procedures, decreased treatment time and
faster patient results.
However, unpredictable soft and hard tissue outcomes are often the
problem. This course aims to cover all aspects related to immediate
implant placement procedures.

Aims & Objectives

1 Understand case selection for immediate implant placement according to the indication
on the literature.
2 Learn treatment planning and Assessment for management of immediate implants.
3 Discuss extraction techniques and drilling protocols in the post extraction site: Incisors
premolars and molars.
4 How to approach the extraction to prevent any damage to the buccal bone.
5 Manage complications like:
• Poor primary stability
• Buccal fenestration
• Dehiscence’s
6 How to preserve or gain keratinized mucosa around the implant to provide a better
biological and aesthetic long-term result.
7 Immediate placements with immediate loading from the ‘S’ Line provisional to the final
restoration.
