Dr Pynadath George

The purpose of this short programme is to expand upon the participants understanding of solutions to the atrophic maxilla utilising Dental Implantology, and to provide a working knowledge of the subject.

Learning Objectives

  • This programme is intended to guide and consolidate the theory, concept and use of Dental Implants in the atrophic jaws.

  • To provide course participants with training on the pre operative planning  on the provision implants in atrophic jaws.

  • To provide course participants with the surgical hands on training and experience in the provision of zygomatic implants.

 

Dr Andoni Jones

Many patients requiring implants present bone deficiencies. There are many ways to regenerate but autogenous bone still remains the gold standard. It’s predictability and consistent results make it the material of choice in complex situations, shortening healing times and obtaining  better bone quality compared to biomaterials.

Learning OBjectives

  • To understand why autogenous bone is still the gold standard

  • Limitations of grafting with autogenous bone

  • Timing and execution in complex bone and soft tissue regeneration.

Biography

Dr Pynadath George

Dr Pynadath George is at the forefront of teaching and mentoring Full Arch Implant Dentistry and bone grafting. He has been running Implant courses since 2014 and has trained numerous dentists since then.

Dr George’s scope of practice is limited to advanced restorative dentistry involving implants including advanced bone grafting and  complex full arch cases such as pterygoid and zygomatic implants.

He previously taught Restorative Dentistry and Implantology as a Teacher/Lecturer in Liverpool University Dental School and worked as an Associate Specialist in a tertiary level hospital, treating cancer patients with fixed and removal prosthetics utilising implants.

Dr George completed his Membership Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons, a Master's degree from The Eastman (UCL), a Master's degree from Warwick Medical School and his Doctorate with specialist training in Oral Surgery from the University of Edinburgh.

 

Dr andoni Jones

Dr Jones graduated from the University of Bilbao in 2010. He worked in private practice for 3 years doing general dentistry as well as oral surgery and implants. He completed a postgraduate dental implant training program in 2012. After gaining experience in many fields of dentistry and working with different specialist he decided to move to Ireland in 2013. He worked in private practice for another 3 years dedicated mainly to dental implants, oral surgery and restorative dentistry before joining the 3Dental team early in 2017. Since graduation, he has completed numerous courses and training programs in Europe and America, becoming more specialized in the fields of dental implants and periodontal surgery, which he has a special passion for.
