FORMAT OF THE COURSE
8 weeks of online self-directed learning prior to the hands-on days.
The course is conducted over two days, with day one dedicated to implant placement only.
The hands-on day will comprise of lectures, interactive case discussions, and hands-on.
All delegates will have the opportunity to practice placing numerous implants into models.
All delegates will have the opportunity to practice Guided Bone Regeneration and implant placement simultaneously.

Aims & Objectives

To outline the relevant investigations, considerations and assessments relevant to potential dental implant patients.

To understand what implant dentistry is, where/when it is suitable for simple cases and how to safely embark upon introductory dental implant cases.

To help understand a concise pathway for dental implant care (from assessment and consent through to maintenance).

To confidently be able to discuss patients care plans with our patients in practice.

To gain the relevant clinical skills necessary for a "SAFE BEGINNER" to enter the implant dentistry field with mentoring.
