Many of our patients require complex treatments which may involve implants, orthodontics and other restorative solutions. They also want beautiful, healthy smiles that will last and function for many years to come. Digital technology is revolutionising the way we do things and  there is no doubt that it can improve accuracy, efficiency and productivity.

In this presentation Ian will discuss the technology available to aid us in diagnosis, treatment planning and execution of these treatments. He will then demonstrate how to blend digital with time tested conventional methods to produce beautiful aesthetic results based on sound occlusal principles. Ian will also discuss how digital improves communication with the patient and dental technician.

Aims and objectives:

  • Understand the Concept of Complete Dentistry

  • Understand how to use digital technology to aid the complete dentistry process and patient engagement

  • Four occlusal goals and how to measure them digitally

  • A novel approach to predictable treatment planning

  • How digital will improve communication with the laboratory enabling predictability and productivity

  • How to incorporate printing and milling into the Practice
