There are more than a thousand implant brands worldwide; each one with unique features, different connections and different tools to support the surgical and restorative phase of the implant therapy.
How do we choose the implant system that we wish to use and how important is the Connection between implant and abutment?
Today, we will critically review the different connections between implant and abutment and we will try to clarify whether this is important or just a “marketing strategy” by the implant manufacturers.
Learning objectives:
- To review the different connections between implant and abutment
- To have a greater understanding of the benefits of different connections and different sites in the oral cavity
