Further details about this event

The most complete and all-comprising PRF dental course with Dr. Joseph Choukroun, the inventor of PRF techniques. Hard and soft tissue regeneration with PRF.
Biological factors for long term stability of bone and soft tissue with an overall approach to dental implantology.
LECTURE & HANDS-ON

Aims & Objectives

PRF treatment delivers a fibrin matrix, platelets, growth factors, stem cells and white blood cells, as a result it accelerates wound healing and tissue regeneration, stimulates osteogenesis and promotes new blood vessel formation.
PRF contains approximately 10 times more platelet concentration than normal blood, therefore having great healing and regenerative properties.

Learn the theoretical and practical skills which will enable you to start utilising PRF in your daily practice.
Participants will receive up-to-date knowledge on clinical application of PRF in oral surgery, in implant dentistry, in dental extraction, in tissue grafting.

Obtain the skills required for phlebotomy and blood drawing, for using the PRF centrifuge machine, preparing PRF membranes, plugs and sticky bone according to Choukroun PRF protocols. Learn the NEW! PomPac and PomSwing protocols to achieve larger than ever fibrin.

Learn numerous clinical tips and tricks on hard and soft tissue management, the importance of oxidative stress, specific suture protocols to avoid tension, the soft brushing technique to extend the flap, peri-implantitis prevention and treatment, marginal bone loss and pain management for enhanced quality and duration of local anaesthesia.

Delegates will be taught the theory and practicals of PRF and by the end of the course they will be expected to perform the following:
-Understand PRF and its implementation in the dental practice.
-To be able to use the PRF centrifuge machine, draw blood, prepare PRF membranes, plugs, sticky bone, liquid PRF, mix PRF with GBR materials.
- Understand the Choukroun PRF protocols including the NEW PomPac, PomCol and PomSwing protocols
-To know specific sutures protocols to avoid tension, learn the soft brushing technique to extend the flap
- Learn about pain management to improve the quality and duration of local anaesthesia.
- How to manage oxidative stress in dental surgery
