Begin your implant journey with us.
The course is designed to introduce implant dentistry to dentists with little or no implant experience. We will show you how to treatment plan, place and restore implants. Surgical experience is no barrier as we will teach and demonstrate the basic concepts of oral surgery including flap design and suturing. The course is a comprehensive mix of theory and practical with live surgery. Basic and advanced techniques will be taught with a strong practical element. There will be in depth support from dental laboratories, cone beam scanning centres and implant companies. 12 modules over 12 months based in Leeds,Leicester and London, UK Fully compliant with GDC and FGDP(UK) guidelines for implant training October 2019 and counts towards 70 hours Verifiable CPD.

Dr. Reza Faridrad
Dr Faridrad qualified in 1995 and has 3 years of postgraduate education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Eastman Dental Institute, he was awarded a prestigious Master degree from UCL in 2001. He has 4 years hospital experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics in London (UCH), Liverpool (Aintree Hospitals), Gloucester & Cheltenham general hospitals. Dr Faridrad has extensive experience in facial trauma and injuries and management of oral cancer. Dr Faridrad is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS RCS), Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the Association of
Osseointegration and ITI, International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. Dr Faridrad currently works 3 days a week at his dental dental practice and 2 days a week visiting referring dental practices as their implantologist and oral surgeon. In the meantime he mentoring young dentists and runs study clubs at his practice. Dr Faridrad has inserted more than 3000 dental implants using more than 15 different dental implant systems and has performed more than 500 sinus graft procedures, 30 Zygomatic implants and 4 Inferior dental nerve lateralisation procedures.

Aman is the owner of Headrow Dental, a multi award winning private practice in Leeds City. Passionate about aesthetic dentistry and occlusal studies, Aman is the lead tutor on the Headrow Academy Restorative programme. His particular area of interest is crown and veneer work using the B.O.P.T preparation technique. Aman has been involved in teaching for many years as a foundation trainer and a mentor for the MJDF Diploma

Dr. Amit Kotecha

Amit Qualified from Kings College London 1991 and then worked in Maxillofacial Surgery for 4 years up to Registrar Level. He achieved a Licentiate and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. He attained his Specialist Status in Oral Surgery in 1999-2012. Opening a Specialist Practice in Leicestershire, dedicated to the provision of Dental Implants and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. Amit Has been placing and restoring Dental Implants since 1992. He lectured for several Implant companies and Ivoclar Vivadent and ran inhouse courses
for Implants and Restorative Dentistry. Amit has taught internationally with some of the greatest names in Implant Dentistry, the feedback from delegates and peers has been exceptional stating that “Dr Amit Kotecha is a very knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. In the program he is very helpful and willingly to teach and instruct others in a very professional and pedagogic way but at the same time friendly way.” He currently teaches basic and advanced Implant dentistry at the Ajman University Dubai.
He is an avid adventurer having made three attempts at summiting Everest for CRUK and raising £117k in the process, he dives, parachutes, kayaks and thrives on the adrenaline buzz of any challenge. His greatest achievement is his family and his three children.

Dr. Savan Zala
BDS (LOND) 2004, MFGDP (RCS), MSc (DENTAL IMPLANTS)
Savan graduated as a Dental Surgeon from Guys, Kings & St Thomas’ London in 2004. From an early stage, he adopted a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry, and began his journey by training within Oral Maxillofacial and Community Dental Services around Sheffield and Leeds. Since then he has spent most of his time in private practice, with majority of his work being focused towards Dental Implants, Advanced Restorative Care and treatment for the anxious/nervous patients. He has been placing and restoring dental
implants for over 10 years, and has been involved within the postgraduate and teaching side of dentistry. Savan has been awarded a Masters in Implant Dentistry (MSc Dental Implants) and has both and academic and practical interest in rehabilitation with dental implants.
Currently Savan works as a Visiting Implant Dentist to multiple dental clinics around the UK. In addition to this he is heavily involved in mentoring dentists to further improve their skills in dentistry, and encourages general dentists to explore placing and restoring dental implants.
