This webinar, using a mixture of slides, animations and videos, explains the scientific rationale for the technique of ridge-splitting, and the practical steps in accomplishing the technique. At the end of the webinar participants should have:
1. A better understanding of the factors affecting the outcome of bone manipulation.
2. A better understanding of the essential steps in ridge-splitting.
3. A knowledge of variations of and alternatives to the ridge-splitting technique that may be more appropriate for specific patients.
