Non-ADI Implant Courses
Here is a comprehensive selection of courses, provided by ADI members, focussing on dental implantology. If any member wishes to submit a course to these pages, please use our submission form.
The ADI has split these courses into four categories:
Academic courses This section shows courses run by academic institutions and include MSc, Diploma and Certificates – some of which are recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC).
Private courses This section shows courses, which are privately run by individual or groups of dentists and typically take place over one year.
Technician courses These courses are aimed at technicians with an interest in implant dentistry. They are provided by various individuals and/or companies and usually last for short periods.
Short/local/commercial courses This section lists a variety of courses, which are shorter in length, typically one to five days, some of which are organised by commercial companies.
The ADI does not endorse any external course, we simply provide information for professionals looking for further education in this speciality.
Some course providers offer postgraduate qualifications that are recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC). Please click here to see their website for a complete listing and further details.
ADI Past President Paul Stone kindly penned some thoughts for all dentists aspiring to work with dental implants. You can read his advice.
