Peter Gordon qualified in 1964 and was in a Private London W1 practice from 1969 until 1998 when he joined the Dental Reference Service. He introduced and piloted the use of dental photography within the Reference Service. He held Honorary Clinical Consultancies with 3M (Espe) and Bayer (Heraeus Kulzer) between 1977 and 1998. He has lectured and written extensively on clinical photography and co-authored “Dental Photography” 1987 with Philip Wander. He was appointed as Dental Advisor to the BDA in 1991 and held the post until 1996. He was appointed as a dental consultant to GSK in 2010. Peter was involved for many years as an Honorary Clinical Teacher UCL Eastman Dental Institute giving lectures and advice on clinical photography on their postgraduate teaching programmes. He is currently a freelance lecturer for BPP University. He wrote a series of photographic articles for “Implant Dentistry Today” which was published 2015/6. He is currently commissioned to write a new text on “Dental Photography.” He is a Director of Photodent which was set up to help dentists and their staff, whether in practice or in a hospital environment, to make the most of the latest equipment and accessories
