Samantha Pugh qualified with distinction from Kings College London University in 1998 and focused her early years in oral and maxillofacial surgery appointments at St Georges Hospital, Tooting and Kings College Hospital, London. She developed her surgical skills and interest in surgical dentistry over the years and gained a Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2001.

She has since worked for many years in family orientated practices in London and Bedfordshire with a special interest in surgical dentistry. During this time she gained experience with dental implants, which led her to undertake a postgraduate Masters programme. She completed her Masters in Implant Dentistry with Honours in 2007 from the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.

On completing her training, Samantha continued to work at the Eastman Dental Hospital treating advanced surgical and restorative cases as well as teaching new postgraduate trainees. Samantha has a keen enthusiasm for teaching and education. She has lectured and provided hands-on courses for her peers. She has been a member of the Association of Dental Implantology since 2007 and attends regular journal clubs and peer discussion in the Implant field.
