Peter J M Fairbairn is Chair of the ADI 2017 Congress Committee and ADI Director of Education. Peter is visiting Professor at the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, MI, USA. He is Principal Dental Surgeon at the Scarsdale Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic in Kensington, London and has placed implants there since 1991. Peter is also President elect of the London Dental Fellowship and Clinical Director of Regenamed Limited.
He has a strong interest in particulate synthetic bone regeneration materials having worked with a few companies in product development as well as clinical and laboratory based studies.
Peter has spoken in over 30 countries globally during the last 10 years on oral surgery and implant related bone regeneration. He has numerous Pubmed quoted, peer reviewed research publications as well as many other published journal articles.
With chapters in two published books (Quintessence) on oral surgery as well as a new recently published Implant Protocol, his interest in bone regeneration is the drive to his enthusiasm in implant dentistry.
He and his wife have twin boys and a daughter and live in West London. Hobbies include tennis, golf and GT motorsport.
