DESCRIPTION:For some of our patients the replacement of a tooth with an implant is not enough - they would like their tooth replacement to blend in with the rest of their teeth and appear indistinguishable.\n\nThe challenge we have is that when a tooth is lost there is always some loss of tissue and also remodelling the alveolus for a like for like replacement of the tooth can be challenging.\n\nDuring this lecture I will cover the strategies that we can employ during all stages of implant treatment to maximise the final aesthetic outcome of the surgical and restorative phases of implant treatment.\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\nTo understand the papers that can guide our aesthetic diagnosis when implant treatment is being plannedTo understand some of the interventions that can be used for  preservation and augmentation
