SUMMARY:ADI Northern Ireland Webinar - Free Registration for All!
UID:2090
DESCRIPTION:Join ADI Northern Ireland’s Host - Dr Andrew Little and expert Speaker - Dr Stavros Eleftheriou for a must-attend Study Club webinar and Q&A: "Why Bone Grafts Fail and How to Make Them Predictable". Open to delegates from all of Ireland and UK regions\, as well as overseas\, don’t miss out!\n\nThe evening will be based on discussions around how Bone graft failure remains one of the most common and frustrating problems in implant dentistry\, often occurring despite correct planning\, appropriate materials\, and sound surgical technique. This webinar takes a problem-solving approach to understanding why bone grafts fail and how predictability can be improved.\n\nRather than revisiting grafting techniques or material selection in isolation\, the session focuses on the biological events that determine success or failure in the early healing phase. Key concepts such as vascularisation\, inflammatory load\, immune response\, and surgical stress are explored and linked directly to clinical outcomes seen in everyday implant practice.\n\nThe aim is to provide clinicians with a clear\, practical framework for decision-making—helping them recognise when grafting is likely to succeed\, when it may compromise outcomes\, and how small\, realistic adjustments can significantly improve predictability without fundamentally changing existing workflows.\n\nAIMSBy the end of this webinar\, delegates will be able to:\n\nIdentify the biological mechanisms responsible for common bone graft failures\, even when technique appears correct.Understand how early healing events—vascularisation\, inflammation\, and immune response—cap regenerative potential.Apply biology-based reasoning to decide when bone grafting adds value and when it may increase risk.Implement small\, evidence-based clinical adjustments to improve graft predictability and long-term implant outcomes.Book nowADI Members and Non-Members - FREEwhy attend?High-quality\, independent implant educationClinically relevant content you can apply immediatelyFREE registration Learn more about our Sponsors and their products.Includes verifiable CPD\n\nMORE ABOUT YOUR SPEAKER - Dr Stavros EleftheriouDr Stavros Eleftheriou is a Specialist in Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery and a Specialist in Oral Surgery.\n\nDr Stavros graduated the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki\, Greece in 1996 and then continued his surgical training in Israel (Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery\, Rambam Healthcare Campus\, Haifa\, Israel).
