DESCRIPTION:Stage One of our Curriculum in Implant Dentistry:\n\nLearn to place straightforward implants!\n\nWe believe that practical experience is an essential element of dental implant training\, as lecture-based teaching or research alone can not make you competent at placing implants. Placing implants is a practical craft\, a mixture of science and art that must be practised. To this end\, The Year Implant course involves a considerable amount of practical experience with models\, pigs and live delegate surgery on patients.\n\nWe have tied this course in with the Straumann Mentoring Scheme\, meaning everyone who comes out of the course gets assigned a mentor to take the skills and move them forward. This is perhaps one of the most essential aspects\, but the course is much more than that.\n\n
