DESCRIPTION:During the presentation Mukesh will explain the basics of the anatomy of the alveolar ridge. The dimensional changes that occur after extraction. There will be a small explanation of bone physiology. The benefits of Ridge Preservation. Atraumatic extraction techniques along with a protocol that will try to ensure as much bone as possible is available after the ridge has healed. Mukesh feels that Ridge Preservation is the only bone augmentation procedure that every dental practitioner can learn – providing a pathway for possible future oral surgery or dental implant career.
