SUMMARY:*POSTPONED* Harlow Study Club
UID:1517
DESCRIPTION:The long-term success of an implant-supported rehabilitation is strictly influenced by both the density and volume of available bone and the quality of soft tissues at the implant site.\n\nPrecise analyses of the anatomic situation and accurate planning of the treatment are crucial\, because inaccurate and malpositioned implants may jeopardize long-term esthetic and functional prognosis. In addition\, many types of biocompatible materials and different surgical techniques have been developed. In this presentation we will review and discuss procedures to achieve predictable and long-lasting results and the critical role of soft tissue augmentation.\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\nTo understand the treatment planning and patient selection for grafting procedures. To become familiar with concepts and techniques in bone grafting from incision to suturing.Learn the use of biomaterials with autogenous bone and barrier membranes.
