DESCRIPTION:There are good reasons to use Cone Beam CT but also good reasons not to use it.  So how do we decide when to use CBCT when planning dental implants?  Andrew will show how the efficacy of diagnostic imaging is evaluated and present the available evidence.  Research methods in recent projects concerning imaging prior to implant placement in the anterior edentulous mandible will be considered.
