5. Hands-on workshops

5.1 Hands-on workshops will take place on Thursday 26 May, and nine workshops will be available to select from. Each workshop will have a small number of participants and will be either a morning or afternoon session (each workshop will be given twice).

5.2 Attendance at hands-on workshops is limited to Congress delegates who are dentists, and is an optional extra that is not covered by the delegate fee.

5.3 Delegates will be able to book to attend hands-on workshops as part of the online delegate booking process via the Congress website, and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

5.4 Delegates who have already booked to attend the Congress, who subsequently decide they wish to attend a hands-on workshop, can amend their booking via the Your Event Bookings section of the ADI website (see booking confirmation email).

5.5 Requests to transfer an existing hands-on workshop booking to an alternative workshop should be made using our contact form by 1 April 2022. ADI will attempt to accommodate such requests but this cannot be guaranteed.

5.7 Subject to delegates providing their permission, ADI will provide to the companies organizing the hands-on workshops, in advance of the Congress, the contact details of the delegates who have booked to attend their hands-on workshops, for the purpose of providing the delegates with relevant information to enhance their educational experience.

5.8 The companies organizing the hands-on workshops are wholly responsible for providing any necessary PPE to their workshop participants and will instruct delegates in advance if they need to bring any of their own personal equipment, e.g. loupes.

5.9 Delegates will have their name badge scanned on arrival at the hands-on workshop to confirm their attendance. CPD certificates will be provided by the company to delegates who attend.

5.10 The delegate accepts that any claims, demands, losses, expenses and damages suffered or incurred by the delegate arising out of or in connection with any failure by the company organizing the hands-on workshop to hold its workshop should be addressed to the organizing company and that ADI will have no liability for these, subject only to such failure being as a result of the postponement or abandonment of the Congress by the ADI.
