Implantology Courses

Welcome to the ADI Implant courses page, a facility allowing you to view a comprehensive selection of courses focussing on dental implantology. The Association has long been committed to providing and encouraging educational progress amongst its members and other professionals interested in dental implants.

In order to simplify your search, this listing of non-ADI courses has been split into three categories:

Academic courses
This section shows courses run by academic institutions and include MSc, Diploma and Certificates – some of which are recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC).

Private courses
This section shows courses, which are privately run by individual or groups of dentists and typically take place over one year.

Technician Courses
These courses are aimed at technicians with an interest in implant dentistry. They are provided by various individuals and/or companies and usually last for short periods.

Short/local/commercial courses
This section lists a variety of courses, which are shorter in length, typically one to five days, some of which are organised by commercial companies.

Some course providers offer postgraduate qualifications which are recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC) – please see Postgraduate Qualifications Explained page. These entitle each graduate to display their qualifications after their names on items such as stationery and business cards, for example Jane Doe BDS, MSc. Any other courses which claim to offer titles such as fellow, diplomat or others similar, have not been officially recognised by the GDC. Discounts are offered to ADI members by some of the course providers. However the ADI does not endorse these or any of the other courses listed, it is simply providing a calendar for easy reference for those professionals looking for further education in this speciality.
