Ark will mean something different to each learner. Some will wish embark on all 13 courses, others might prefer to dip in and out of the programme to broaden existing knowledge gaps or to address gaps in a specific area of implant dentistry.

The GDC in 2008 produced guidelines on the knowledge and skill required to begin placing implants. Ark has been designed taking these guidelines into consideration.
