The Uses and Advantages of Using the PRGF Endoret System in Surgery

The uses of platelet rich plasma have been talked about for many years now, yet still a limited number of practitioners are using it.
In his talk Bob will:
- Give an overview of the biology and rationale for its use and illustrate where it can be a game changer for surgical success, explaining some of the particular advantages of the PRGF Endoret© system over other systems
- Give an overview of his five years of experience with this system.
- To understand the use of PRGF Endoret© system
- To develop an appreciation of some of the surgical risks waiting to trap the inexperienced surgeon and how to deal with those risks

After associate positions from 1975 to 1978, Bob has owned and worked in four practices, three of which were squat practices.
Since 1994 Bob has been the Practice Owner and Principal at Contemporary Dental in Exeter. Starting as a squat private practice (two surgeries), with emphasis on complex restorative and implant dentistry, the practice now has three surgeries, and a great team. They do oral surgical procedures at the limits of what is achievable in general practice including grafting and sinus augmentation.
Bob has been a postgrad junkie all of his practicing life, training in many disciplines including prosthodontics, periodontics, orthodontics and sedation, with further training in advanced head and neck anatomy. Bob has had 29 years’ experience of placing and restoring implants and over 38 years of complex prosthodontics. He has lectured and tutored on occlusion, sedation, implantology, surgical endodontics, practice management and case presentation.
Bob has been an ADI member since its inception and is an ADI mentor in Devon.
