Course aims:

The postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry is a well-established programme that ensures deep and long-lasting value for you, your practice and your patients. At the end of the course, our aim is for you to have the confidence to undertake more complex procedures, ensuring that you meet the standards of best practice and deliver better care for your patients. Using the latest implant systems, you will gain the confidence and flexibility to apply your hands-on clinical skills quickly in your practice. The programme is designed by a team of leading, practising implantologists and builds upon our 15 years’ expertise of setting the standards in implant dentistry.

Course content:

This Postgraduate Diploma is a two-year part-time course, with our next cohort commencing from January 2020. Consisting of 11 units, our contemporary curriculum covers comprehensive training in block bone grafts, sinus lifts, autogenous bone grafting and same day full arch restorations giving you the ability to undertake more complex procedures using the latest implant techniques. The course also gives you access to leading academic journals and articles, improving your ability to both interpret and relate them to your clinical practice.

Course Benefits:

The programme will give you the opportunity to broaden the services you provide to your patients as well as giving you the confidence and necessary skill set to place implants across a range of specific case types. With its international collaborations – in Germany, Spain and Italy, this Diploma is the only one of its kind to give you the opportunity to learn in state-of-the-art facilities, in different clinical environments and to share new perspectives and clinical cases. Uniquely, our dedicated in-course and post-course one to one tutor support (which extends two years beyond the end of the learning period) helps you to consolidate your learning, perfect your skills and empowers you to deliver a high standard of care for your patients. Our former candidates have listed increases in their income, referrals and service provision amongst some benefits they have received from the programme.
