Course aims:

A course designed for clinicians who have placed between 25-100 implants and are keen to explore the possibility of attempting more complex cases in the aesthetic zone as well as introducing Guided Bone Regeneration and contour grafting as part of the treatment protocol

Course content:

The course takes place across 3 days. The first two days involve intensive didactic teaching, hands-on practicals on models and live demonstrations of aesthetic surgery before all delegates are given the opportunity to place implants on a patient that has been sourced and prepared by us.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Assessment and treatment planning for aesthetic cases
  • The utilisation of different implant types
  • Advanced surgical skills
  • Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) including GBR practical
  • Exposure of aesthetic implants and construction of provisional restorations in aesthetic cases
  • Discussion of treatment with patients
  • Custom impression technique and emergence profile to including practical exercise
  • Case discussion and treatment planning for delegates' individual cases
