ADI Members' National Forum
Saturday 25 November 2017
Manchester Central, Petersfield, Manchester M2 3GX
We are delighted to announce the opening of registrations for our 2017 Members’ National Forum, our unique event with 24 presentations delivered by ADI members to an audience of fellow ADI members. This event takes place every two years and for many is the most stimulating dental implantology meeting in the calendar. This year we return to Manchester Central, where we held the 2013 ADI Team Congress.
Attendance at this event will be free, with just a booking fee of £5.00 required when you register for the event.
A wide variety of topics will be covered including peri-implantitis, bone manipulation techniques, immediate implantation, use of growth factors, full arch reconstruction, learning from failures, and the varied and increasing role of the hygienist in implantology. We also have a presentation on the possible role of graphene - very apposite since it was developed in Manchester University. We are delighted to welcome the winner of the 2017 Congress Poster Prize, Dr Aneel Jabbar to talk on “The microbiology of peri-implantitis: Similar or distinct to periodontitis?” The full programme is available for you to view on the website.
We will also be pleased to welcome a number of our company members who will have exhibition stands. This will be a great opportunity to catch up with the latest developments in the implant market.
The ADI’s Annual General Meeting will be held during the day, where we will review recent activities and developments at the ADI. During the AGM Craig Parker will be handing over the Presidency to Abid Faqir, and we will also announce the results of this year’s Committee elections.
Directly after the close of the Forum, we do hope that you will stay for a while and enjoy drinks with Committee members, speakers and fellow ADI members.
Come and enjoy our special event, with superb lectures from both experienced lecturers and newcomers to the podium. It is a fantastic opportunity to spend time with friends and participate in the life of our successful and vibrant organisation.
