Dental implants: is quicker always better?
The timing of implant loading can play a major role in the functional and aesthetic success of every implant restoration. Dental implants can be loaded immediately, at early stage or following a delayed protocol. The different views on timing of implants loading, as well as the latest evidence on this controversial topic, will be presented in an attempt to find out whether there is a difference in success rates between the different loading protocols. This lecture will also highlight various clinical scenarios in attempt to give answers to pros and cons about the optimal loading timing protocol under different conditions.
