Management of severe peri-implantitis

Several years following successful osseointegration and function of multiple implants, a patient developed severe peri-implantitis. Cooperation with the medical practitioner to change medications and local periodontal treatment led to a full recovery.
This is a very informative and interesting case that will raise awareness to the importance of medical history in implantology and the management of complications.
